Hi, I'm Lindsey

I’m a therapist and founder of Fundamental Health, a practice specializing in overcoming anxiety, depression, and improving relationships to reach ultimate badassery. As a therapist, I tell clients that the work is done BETWEEN sessions. Welcome to the unfiltered behind the scenes of how I live MY life between sessions being sure to prioritize mental health all along the way.  

With this site I will help guide you to prioritizing the MIND Fundamentals (Movement-Intention-Nourishment-Deep Connections) and consider your all around health and HAPPINESS in each day to day.  But I’ll also share the sh*t show of real life– because it ain’t easy for ANYONE, lemme tell ya.

Think about your day yesterday.

How much time did you spend looking at a screen?  And screens are everywhere right now, think about your phone, your iPad, your computer, your TV, your back-up-camera in the car, and the list goes on and on.

Did you know the way your screen lights up can cause damage to your eyes and sleeping patterns?

When I first became a therapist I was baffled by  the extensive, and almost mandatory use of white noise machines–a regular sight just outside the doors of most therapists. In fact, upon his first visit to my office, my husband was concerned that maybe our air conditioning was broken because of the loud consistent whooshing sound coming from each office. 

Whether you’re facing a global pandemic or not, the best way to maintain positive mental health is to incorporate regular daily routines that prioritize a healthy mindset.  I keep this very simple by using what I’ve coined as the:

MIND Fundamentals – Movement, Intention, Nourishment, and Deep Connections.
